Jo received an unexpected telephone call on Bonfire Night.
Anna from People’s Postcode Lottery called to say that the LMSTC had been selected to receive a donation as part of the Millionaire Street Postcode Community Trust promotion, and that they would like to come to the centre to film us on action.

So very little time to prepare, but as usual all staff, volunteers and members pulled out all the stops to show the LMSTC working at its’ absolute best.
A team of 3 ( Anna, Megan & Tom ) from People’s Postcode Lottery arrived at 09-30 and interviewed, filmed and photographed the Centre in action.
Jo juggled all the plates as usual, Roger ran the chamber, Liz and Milly managed reception, Arnold organised physiotherapy, Mel and Mark kept up with their Complementary Therapy and Foot Health appointments, and the group physio gang kept the atmosphere buzzing.
Then the shocking WOW moment came when Anna announced that the LMSTC had been awarded a donation of £40,000.
As a small local charity such a large , unexpected donation makes a big difference to our funding, and it will really help to keep the Centre thriving over the next year. Needless to say we are really grateful to all those who play the People’s Postcode Lottery.
